Having pain in your back can be difficult to live with. Today we will talk about a few things you can do to help lessen the pain.
Let’s start with a couple of different stretches:
1. Toe Touches: Lay on the floor with the right leg extended in front of you. The left leg is bent with the knee going down in the direction of the floor and the sole of the foot resting up against the side of the right leg. Bend down over the right leg with head down and arms extending as long as possible over the leg. You might be able to grab hold of the toes, foot or ankle.
You should be able to feel the stretch in the hamstring across the rear of the leg and in your lower back, however don't push yourself too far. Remain in this position for a couple of minutes, after that gradually straighten up, rest, and repeat with the other leg.
2. Side bends: You can perform these either standing up, sitting down, or even seated on a workout ball. Stretch the arms above the head with hands your hands clasped together. Keeping the body in a vertical plane (so that you don't bend forward), gradually bend the full torso to one side, then the other. Be sure to check out some other stretches from the Mayo Clinic.
Now that you have these stretches you will want to try rubbing on an ointment or cream. Preferable a CBD cream or ointment. The company I use to get my cbd from is QuietMonkCBD.com. You can try them or any other reputable company. Once you have the cream, I would recommend rubbing it on an hour before you stretch and then at night before you sleep.
As with everything that relates to your health, you should always consult a doctor before you start any stretching routine or before taking any over the counter medicines.
